Wow, can’t believe I forgot to do a roundup since foreverrrrr. Here’s a few highlights of what I’ve been working on since 2024. Lots of life changes and questioning of what I’m even doing (hi, Imposter-Syndrome) definitely held me back from my personal goals.

2024 Review:

I was pregnant most of ‘24 – sooo lots of sleeping and doodling when I could.

• June – Self-published ‘Birds in My Backyard’
• August – Launched the hardback (2nd) edition of ABCs of Beasties
• Aug thru Oct – Vended at a few festivals/markets
• Maternity Leave the rest of the year, it was so nice to be off and focus on my little branching family <3

2025 Review:

Not much work was done creatively, honestly. I was really struggling with balancing work, home-life, general upkeep of a home, and perfectionism.

• Jan – Created a coloring book to accompany my ABCs of Beasties picture book
• Jan – Launched YT channel featuring read-alongs of my books
• Feb – Revelry Tiny Art Big Heart art show & Love & Sprockets local art show
• March – Vended at the Loveland Frogman Festival, very fun but left me wiped out after 2 days
• May – Moved! So not much art was done.
• Oct – Vended another market (it was meh this time around)
• Oct – Taught a ‘How to draw Mothman’ class at a local arts organization

2026 Review:

Getting back into the swing of things and changed day jobs so now I get more time back for creative, soul-filling pursuits.

• Jan – Started a series of YT shorts that featured various canines from world mythologies
• April – Tabled at a Local Author showcase
• Working on 3^rd picture book, hoping to publish this fall (Sept/Oct)

Projects in the works for the rest of 2026:

• 3rd Picture Book – Finish my next story by this fall
• Portfolio – Update portfolio on a monthly basis
• Youtube channel – Add some more Lore n Draw videos
• Teaching – Teach some more in-person classes for kids
• Markets/Fests – Vending at a few markets this fall
